Local sailor conducts STEM presentation during San Diego Fleet Week

Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Brandi Fitzwater of St. Paris demonstrated a medical procedure during Student STEM Day at the Broadway Pavilion during SDFW 2018. SDFW is an opportunity for the public to meet the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard teams and experience America's sea services.

Downtown Troy prepares for Santaa s arrival -

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Troy as Troy Main Street and the city of Troy prepare for Santa's 2018 debut at the annual Grand Illumination. The Grand Illumination kicks off in downtown Troy at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 with a showing of the movie, "The Santa Clause," at the Mayflower Arts Center and the opening of the Kris Kringle Market located at The Rec.

City traffic stop leads to drug citation; smelly suspicion

The Bellefontaine Police Department reports at that Garret Predmore, 19, of Saint Paris, was driving a 2005 Hyundai southbound in the 1200 block of South Main Street, when deputies initiated a traffic stop. Officers explained to Predmore that he had been pulled over because the license plate lights on his vehicle weren't working.
